ADHD and Focus Support

Gentle Brain-Based Tools for Attention and Learning

For some kids, focus feels impossible.

They may struggle to stay seated, follow multi-step directions, complete assignments, or even tune in long enough to hear what’s being said.

At Resolve Unlimited, we understand that attention challenges are often not the root issue, but the result of deeper differences in how the brain processes language, memory, and sensory input. That’s why our approach is never about fixing the child. We support their brain development from the inside out, helping learning feel clearer, calmer, and more doable.

When Attention Is a Symptom, Not the Problem

Many children with ADHD traits also show signs of:

  • Trouble processing what they hear
  • Delays in expressive or receptive language
  • Emotional overwhelm or shutdowns
  • Working memory struggles
  • Low confidence with schoolwork

We look at attention through a whole-child lens. When the brain can’t keep up with speech or instructions, the child tunes out. When reading is exhausting, focus disappears. When tasks feel too hard, motivation fades.

Our job is to gently build up the underlying systems so focus can come more naturally, without pressure or force.

Tools We Use for ADHD Support

Fast ForWord®

Fast ForWord is a neuroscience-based online program that helps the brain process language more efficiently. It includes fast-paced, adaptive activities that build up:

  • Working memory
  • Sustained attention
  • Processing speed
  • Sequencing
  • Auditory comprehension

For children with attention challenges, this can mean:

  • Following directions more easily
  • Staying focused for longer periods
  • Less frustration during reading or classwork
  • Better ability to stay regulated through tasks

It’s ideal for kids who are ready to interact with a screen and can handle short daily practice sessions (we guide and adapt as needed).

The Listening Program® (TLP)

TLP uses specially-designed music to calm the nervous system and help the brain better organize sound. It’s an excellent starting point for:

  • Kids who are easily overwhelmed by stimulation
  • Children who aren’t ready for Fast ForWord
  • Those with strong sensory sensitivities or motor planning difficulties

TLP helps set the stage for better attention by supporting regulation, sensory filtering, and body-brain connection.

Why This Helps in Real Life

In the Classroom

Kids often miss key instruction simply because they can’t process it fast enough, or cannot block out background noise.

By improving language processing speed and clarity, we make it easier for them to hear, follow, and stay engaged.

During Reading

Reading requires focus, memory, and stamina. All of which are impacted by ADHD.

Our programs build decoding fluency and comprehension skills in a way that feels less frustrating and more rewarding, which in turn encourages more reading.

With Homework and Independence

Homework can be a battle zone. Not just because of attention, but because of confusion, fear, or feeling “behind.”

By targeting the cognitive systems that fuel confidence and independence, we reduce emotional resistance and make homework feel less overwhelming for everyone.

A More Peaceful Path Forward

We know how exhausting it can be to parent a child with focus challenges, especially when traditional supports haven’t worked. At Resolve Unlimited, we take a compassionate, brain-based approach that adapts to your child’s strengths and readiness.

Whether your child has a formal ADHD diagnosis, or you’re just trying to understand why learning feels so hard, we’re here to walk beside you with tools that support real change.
