My Mission

Hi! I’m Nena, a neurodiversity learning coach, disability advocate, and a parent walking this path right alongside the students & families I serve. 

My background is in psychology, speech and hearing sciences, and neurodivergent education, but what truly drives my work is lived experience. I know how confusing and isolating it can feel to navigate systems that don’t always see the full picture of your child.

Resolve Unlimited grew out of my personal journey with my daughter, Indy. It’s a deeply personal, practical approach to helping learners with cognitive, communication, and developmental challenges find tools that help them connect more fully with the world around them.

Resolve Unlimited combines science-backed tools, individualized protocols, and compassionate coaching to support meaningful growth. This work is not about trying to “fix” anyone. It’s about honoring each person’s unique strengths and helping them thrive.

This program is designed to be a partnership, rooted in respect, collaboration, and a firm belief that progress is always possible when families feel empowered and supported.

My daughter’s journey is the heart of Resolve Unlimited. Indy began having life-threatening seizures as an infant, and I was told she wouldn’t live to adulthood. I was also told not to expect her to develop beyond an 18-month level.

For much of her childhood, she was severely disconnected from the world around her and I often wondered where she was in her mind, because she didn't seem to be here with us. 

Around age 14, that began to shift. Bit by bit, Indy started to connect. First with her surroundings, then more with the people in her life. At 17, her language began to change. For years, she had only used short, need-based phrases. Suddenly, we started hearing more. She began being able to express her thoughts, her personality, her sense of humor.

Now in her mid-20s, she’s still developing. While she continues to face cognitive and language challenges, she moves through the world with more joy, more comfort, and more connection than was ever expected.

Indy's progress is a testament to her own grit and resolve. And it's also a testament to the science-backed tools that supported her along the way. These are the same tools I now suggest through Resolve Unlimited, because I believe deeply that every family deserves a path forward.
